There's lots to visit and see...
Dalyan is a small town on the South West coast of Turkey, and was originally well known in the area as a fishing village. Dalyan is situated
along the broad sweet delta that leads to the famous Iztuzu beach, where the protected Caretta Caretta, or loggerhead Turtle, lay their eggs during
the summer months.
During the late 80's Dalyan drew international attention with the help of environmentalist movements. These movements campaigned to get Iztuzu
beach protected as the Caretta Caretta was becoming close to extinction. The campaign was a success and today the whole area of Iztuzu beach
and Dalyan are classified as an environmental protected area.
This truly is a place of natural beauty.
It still possesses the power to amaze both holiday makers and locals with its endless natural beauty and character, and is known to attract people
back time and time again. This is mostly due to the local Turkish people welcoming everyone that comes and visits - as though they were long
lost friends. They will open their homes and hearts to them for as long as they live.
Dalyan is only a twenty minute drive away from Dalaman International Airport and flights are available all year round from most large
European Airports. Dalaman airport has recently been extended and reconstructed in order to accommodate the ever growing number of tourists
that visit the area annually.
The villas are surrounded by mountains and orange groves and the dramatic ruins of ancient Kaunos are just across the river. Boat trips, excursions and outdoor activities can be arranged by Mithat or Adil.
There are many restaurants, in which to try Turkish cuisine (Click here to see our restaurant...), bars and shops.
There are a few discos out of the town, so as not to disturb those of you that wish to retire early.
This is a unique destination full of culture, charm, history and contrasting beauty,
excellent cuisine and unforgetable hospitality.
